Be Prepared for Playwriting Sessions

If you did not bring your envelope with all your writing exercises, remember to do so on Thursday. You don't need to bring a posterboard on Thursday. Julie's directions were to get a posterboard to have at home so you can work on your collages, which you will bring with you on the last session in January.

Test tomorrow on Act II

There is a vocabulary and selection test on Act II of The Crucible on Friday.

Remember, our playwright Julie asked you to look up the definitions of scapegoat and power.

Original Scene

Remember to finish your original scene between John Proctor and Abigail Williams in play format. Remember to include stage directions in parentheses.

Remember to bring your textbook every day. This week we will introduce the play The Crucible by Arthury Miller, by first reading and analyzing the 16th century sermon In the Hands of an Angry God.
